My experience with Heins Law was extremely positive, I contacted them about a situation where I was the Durable POA and also trustee of an irrevocable trust for a family member. My intent was to, in effect, end my responsibilities as trustee, distribute all the funds to the sole beneficiary in a way that served the original purposes and intent of the trust and the grantor. I also was seeking to protect me and my family as a responsible acting fiduciary/trustee. Peter and the staff were very helpful, thorough, and patient in explaining the options available that would be in the best interest of both trustee and grantor; the end result provided me with a lot of peace!
